Who we are
We are a car service dedicated exclusively to Jaguar and Land Rover, nationally authorized by the Romanian Auto Registry for repairs and maintenance of vehicles.
Since 2017, our mission has been to guarantee the technical reliability of these cars and to give Jaguar‑Land Rover owners confidence.
We are a young, determined, highly professional team aiming to be a top-tier Range Rover auto service in Romania.
Our story
Land Rover Yard SRL (currently LR Yard) was officially founded in 2017. The idea emerged when Cristian V. who studied in England, returned home in 2013, driven by his passion for 4×4 vehicles.
Before launching the service, he built a dismantling yard focused on Land Rovers, which later paved the way for the current business.
Initially small, without much stock, this niche in Romania lacked expertise and specialized teams. Moreover, there was neither the necessary know-how nor truly specialized teams for the Land Rover range. Over time, thanks to experience, things evolved.
Until 2025 we have managed to recondition over 1500 engines 3.0 diesel v6 306DT and over 1300 engines 2.0 diesel AJ200 ingenium.
To keep track of the lifetime of every engine, we had written down all parts used in the repairing process, we know all tolerances and parts brands taken down. Until 2025 we have used plastigauge to measure the engine tolerances and we did have a few engines that came back to warranty. Since January 2025 we measure all engine parts with Mitytoyo CMM that is used in the manufacturing process. The quality control in the laboratory is a way better and the japanese machines that we use doesn’t lie.
Currently, the company’s activity is divided into three branches: Exclusively JLR auto repair independent service, Jaguar and Land Rover engine reconditioning laboratory, and an online auto parts store, dedicated to the same cars. In other words, an almost complete business in the field of Land Rover and Jaguar repairs, for all budgets and also for fussy client.

We have contracts with factories that produce forged crankshafts , conrods , pistons and cilinder liners specially for us and we purchase regularily parts for 100 engines at a time.

Our state of the art F1 Engine Laboratory is testing and measuring all the new parts that are being installed in the engines with a japanese presision of 1.2 microns. Our Mitutoyo Strato Active CMM (Coordonate Measuring Machine) helps us pairing the engine parts together with the perfect tolerances just as the “mother factory” .
Our vision
On both short and long term, we aim to be among the most sought-after providers of services and replacement parts for Land Rover and Jaguar across Europe.
By the end of 2027 we should finish all the approved JLR excelence courses for Hybrid and Full electric powered Land Rover vehicles.
